The Guardian Center's Hospice Care Program.

Hospice is a form of care designed to ease the symptoms of illness with a special emphasis on pain management. It also addresses the social, emotional and spiritual issues that a patient and his or her family will face during the final stages of life.

The Guardian Center has been at the forefront of providing hospice and palliative care in Massachusetts. Our unique Hospice Program helps to make every day count for the patient diagnosed with a terminal illness while supporting family members and friends through their most difficult time. Patients in need of our Hospice services receive care from a team of professionals who are specially trained to care for people who are terminally ill. It is a well-coordinated effort to help our patients live out their final days in peace and dignity, as comfortably as possible.

Our Hospice care councilors are there every step of the way to assist you or your loved one through the phases of care. They will assist in guiding the patient's transition from hospital to home and provide comfort and care through the final stages of life. They will also be there to support family and friends through their bereavement following death.

The Guardian Center's Hospice Services are a covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private and commercial insurance carriers. You can reach us at (508) 587-6556 to find out more about our services.
